i admire this reporter. i wouldn’t have reacted as calm as her since i have trauma from being physically attacked and assaulted by a homeless person who was also high on drugs, even in broad daylight. nobody tried to help me then. i would’ve panicked and it wouldn’t be pretty because of the trigger, so kudos to her for sticking to the job even in an uncomfortable situation, but i wish the staff and the authorities handled it better. it was too risky, and we don’t really know how the homeless woman would react.

If this reporter jumped and got startled I won’t still blame her. That is a normal reaction of a person being hugged by a total stranger let alone the woman doesn’t look normal and the pandemic situation of the world, while she was in the middle of her reporting. This reporter is admirable.
