I'll always prefer tapping once at a higher stack. In EU we don't Cron, besides debo. It's just not worth it since we can't buy costumes.

think the best way maybe buy tet godr and cron it to pen, little less chance but half the cron price

I am still using a tri godr offhand weapon. Unfortunately the bs offhand aren't going to fall in price like the other two.

definetly easier to do blackstar. I got my pen black star, then I one tapped my tet Awakening weapon to pen.

Surprisingly, my Godr off-hand went from Base to PEN relatively easy compared to all my Blackstars and for half the cost. Therefore, I'd always recommend Godr route, at least with off-hand for the extra stats each level. Caphras are too precious early-late game to be spending on C20 Kutum.
