*SOLUTION:*

All the possible card numbers (A, 2-10, J, Q, K) have names that are a minimum of 3 letters long, so when you do the first shuffle, you'll place at least the first 3 cards on the table, and because you're counting them out in the way shown in the bottom, you're also reversing the order. Given you place the chosen card 3rd from the top before doing the shuffles, this means that your card will always be one of the cards you put down on the table, and once the first shuffle is complete your card will *always* be in the 7th position.

The next shuffle is always going to be associated to the word "of" - this will then move your card to the 5th position (2 cards removed from the top).

The last shuffle will also always end up with your card being one placed on the table because the name of every suit has a minimum of 5 letters, and from there on everything is done - the moment you put down your card, there are 4 cards beneath it and you have 4 cards in your hand. Either the suit name is 5 letters and you place the remaining cards in your hand on top, or the suit name is more than 5 letters and you place some more cards down on the table before putting the rest of the cards in your hand on top. Either way it doesn't matter - those 4 cards you had in your hand end up on top of the chosen card and the card ends up in the 5th position.

Whether it's tomorrow, or next year, or 5 years from now, when the next full length vsauce video comes out, there's no way i could possibly put off watching it. I love everything you do, Michael, and i hope you're doing well.

Moire patterns are no only important in audiovisual industry but also in condensed matter physics! Graphene layers can form emerging patterns, just like the cards in the video.

It's always a great day when Vsauce comes out of his monthly coma.

Less than $5 for all of that would be an absolute steal at the moment here in the US. All of it looked so fresh despite being so cheap, I'd have to buy at least a dozen of those croquets.

Fun fact: 9 of clubs is one of the least liked cards in a deck! (I learned this from another vsauce episode)

Explanation: If you know basic arithmetic, you would understand that each variable of letters in any card is countable. What Mike is doing right now is basically doing a reverse order of his stacking at the beginning. I'd go further into detail but there's already a post here that explains it very thoroughly.
