ok well my first thought was 7 only but I changed it to 9 before u said not to change, coz I had a feeling u would guess 7 only...
And I think I know the reason behind this attempted mind reading trick:- he firstly said he will read our mind that tends us to think in a more sneaky kinda way, after that he showed us some equations with different numbers every time and activated our mathematical pattern recognition part of brain due to which at the end he told us to chose between 5 and 12... this "5-12" tends us to do 12 minus(-) 5 as we did in previous equations, which equals to 7 and the fact that each equations contained different numbers reduced the chances of us to think a number just showed in video coz we were thinking more sneaky...
