L hamdulillah. I am a Swedish revert and I never *ever* thought I would wear the hijab, even after I reverted, which was exactly year ago subhanAllah, then about 6 months later I got inspired by your videos among others, and 2 months after that I put on the hijab and now one year after my revertion I decided to only wear abayas. I am happier than ever with my choice of clothing. Not until after I put the hijab on did I realize that I had been a slave to the societal beauty standards, which made me feel like a commodity truly. Now I feel like a princess, like someone with dignity and purity and morals, like someone who lives in their own world not interested in stranger mens attention or validation. This change is so incredibly liberating and I wish people in the west would be more open to this perspective of liberation instead of only the s*xual "liberation". Islam is everything that the west needs, subhanAllah. May Allah guide them
