I copied and wrote down the steps Shereene mentioned!

1. Remove Makeup
2. Cleanse
3. Exfoliate (2-3 times a week)
4. Serums
5. Retinol / Retinoids ... (they deserve their own step)
6. Moisturizer
7. Eye cream (Optional)
**If you are sensitive moisturize before using the retinol Flip step 5 & 6

Thank you for this Video Shereene !!

Absolutely love this! Often times skincare is so bogged down with what influencers think. I'm glad to see this perspective coming from an actual dermatologist!

Not only is she smart and beautiful, she’s also hilarious! She’s talking to us like she’s our best friend. Love your vids!

I'm so glad that ACTUAL reputable Doctors are on Social Media and Youtube to correct people's misconceptions about health and skincare. And by the way, votre voix est similaire a Joelle Mardinian lol. What do you think about Susan yara's skincare reactions and recommendation from Mixed MakeUp?

Can you talk about what active ingredient combos are bad for the skin? For example AHA BHA VC etc.

Night time routine is important for regeneration.

1. Remove makeup (micellar water)
2. Cleanse (massage for few minutes)
3. Exfoliate (chemical> physical)
Chemical has AHA and BHA

Now it’s ready to absorb!!

4. Apply serum (target your skin issue)
5. Retinol/ Retinoids
6. Moisturiser
7. Eye cream (optional)

Swap step 5 and 6 if your skin is sensitive

Holy smokes! Best skin care routine on the internet. I spent a good month slowly researching, isolating (because there's a boatload of conflicting info out there), and figuring out this information for myself.

I think I had most of it down, but this really helped reinforce and fine tune everything. Thank you!

So happy I found your page

Hey Shereene, please make a video on specific(inexpensive) products for different skin types, that fit this routine you just mentioned. Would be amazing thanks. ❤️

I just need Shereene to post another video going through her best products, especially for chemical exfoliants.

Your videos are practically a "Skincare 101 Holy Grail." Thank you for taking the time out to post this! Ever since I found that Collagen does not pass the surface of our skin, I have been looking for another way to increase Collagen production throughout my own skin. What you said about the retinol stimulating more Collagen was highly informative. It makes me realize there is always another alternative in which to achieve your skincare goals. The layering advice was great too. It wasn't overcomplicated to understand but straightforward.

I started doing my night routine much earlier based on your advice and I feel like my products have more time to work!

I would love a video navigating with affordable serums you recommend for anti-aging. Also, what should I use under my eyes for anti-aging?! None of my products should be used around the eye.

Can you do a video on picking the right serum? I have combination/oily with acne prone skin and I’m scared to buy anything that will make me break out more, but I need hydration (especially from using tretinoin on my acne). I know I need a serum even with oily skin, I’m just scared about breaking out more!
