I used to take part in baby seaturtle camps as a kid. It was called a 'camp' because those babies needed to be swimming off the beach at around midnight, so that there'd be a higher chance of survival for them, since being in dark water helps avoid predators.
That's what we were told by preservation officers. I don't wish to shed a negative light on this video or anything, since it might be that they are a different type of turtles from those we used to be on a look-out. Just wanted to tell my story so someone here might be interested and actually gets to participate in baby seaturtle camps, my favorite summer camp program of all time!! Wish the turtles safe and beautiful ocean travels. 😊😊❤🐢🐢🐢
