Shooting Hyperlapse in Helsinki, Finland

Показать описание
I had a little bit of hyperlapse work to do today in Helsinki, Finland.
We finally made it to Helsinki which meant the end of the long drive down Finland. And, to make things even better, the weather cleared up and we got nice blue skies and warm weather. I swear, it's been raining the entire way down Finland. It's also my birthday today. So, it was very nice to see the sun on my birthday.
But, just because it was my birthday doesn't mean that I didn't have work to do. I'm still putting together this project for TopDeck Travel which is a 60 second epic travel video from this tour. One of the things I wanted to include was a bunch of hyperlapse. So, to do so, I headed out to a couple different locations around Helsinki and got some shots. Honestly, the hyperlapse stuff is killing me. It's hard work, and monotonous. But, it comes out so cool that it's really worth the pain. I shot hyperlapse at the Helsinki Cathedral, and then again down near the harbour. Both locations were cool, and both of them made for great hyperlapse locations. I'm excited about how the footage came out, and think it'll go really well in their epic travel video.
As for the travel vlog, it kind of ended there as my birthday celebrations started. I was going to take my GoPro out to the bar, but I totally forgot it at home. However, it was maybe a bit of a blessing as it allowed me to enjoy the night without thinking of work. I promise, tomorrow, I'll be back at it.
