King Fez at the Millvale Music Fest 2022

5/21/22 King Fez at the Millvale Music Fest 2022. King Fez always performs a great show and I was hoping to record, or at least get some good photos, of the sword dance. Its unique and interesting. I recorded about half of it and then stopped and backed off a bit, as I already have 2 cameras in need of repair and the guys dancing near me came very close to colliding into my camera a few times. I certainly had a unique perspective being so close to those guys though. I combined what I got of the sword dance with some video from another song. But I have mixed views regarding the guys dancing along during the sword dance. On one hand, they are having a lot of fun. You would expect that to be a great thing. Plus maybe the comedy of it can be seen as entertaining. BUT, are they overdoing it and maybe being mocking and disrespectful? Perhaps I need to lighten up, but I do think that maybe it was a bit over the top. It might be interesting to see if people comment and what their thoughts are on this subject. But making the dancer laugh when she is carefully trying to balance a sword on her head isn't a great idea, and neither is encroaching into her dance area when she is swinging a sword around. But the dancer adapted well.
