JD, I have the non GT40. I deleted the EGR from the 89 Mustang, so I just cap the water lines on the non GT40

Replace your PCV valve, grommet and hose when you do this. Mine was leaking air (vacuum leak) and it ran like crap for 4 years. Spent 20 bucks and it’s like a whole new vehicle.

Some good knowledge from the 5.0 dogg👍 your videos help a lot because I just got a explorer intake (with egr) for my 87 lx 5.0 I'm restoring and made sure I got one with the act sensor provision!

Hey, first want to thank you for all your videos, now my question is I have a 1995 f150 with a 5.0, is it difficult to do the swap with a GT40 upper and lower intake, will I have to replace fuel lines etc.?

Thanks that explains my coolet leak. I guess I'm going to have to pull it off and see if the line has a crack in it. Thanks for the great information.

Hey JYD! Great video on the information about the Gt40 intake vac lines! Quick question for ya, will it hurt anything if I just plug the water lines under the intake and just not use them..? Thanks

Hi JYD, where does the pcv line attach on a non-egg upper? Hope all is well, you haven’t posted in a while.

The vacuum line that runs from the lower intake . Which port do you use on the non egr? The one between the water lines or one of the extra ones?

Pulled mine from a 98 mountineer. Thought it was pretty peculiar that it had P heads with gt40ish upper and lower. Same vacuum line set up as the non egr but definitely has the holes going through it for egr. It was basically a hybrid of the two kind of weird. Since im doing egr delete, should I just cap off the two coolent lines on the upper manifold or just leave em blank I suppose. They are definitely clogged I am still trying to unclog them.

Im about to use this setup myself. Which # injectors do you recommend? Stock GT or larger? Naturally aspirated project. Likley sticking with factory cam or maybe one step better. Application is AOD-E 1994 GT convertible.

Tony! I have a set of upper and lower GT40 intakes. So i have the Egr equipped intake. But the vacuum lines the same same setup as the non egr intake. Have you seen that? I kinda figured out how to set it up.
