In this video, I'm offering you an update of what has been happening at school for the first half of the semester. I talk about the different technics learned in my weaving class. I also talk about the cute sweater I knitted in my knitting machine class. Finally, I give you an insight on my dyeing class.

During the video, I mentioned the three other videos I made about my textile journey. Here's the link to all of them:

PATTERN
Here's a list of the different patterns mentioned during the video.

Weaving:
Overshot: Trellis. The draft can be found on page 116 of Anne Dixon's books: the Handweaver's Pattern Directory

All other warp patterns were designed by my teacher, Lea Menard. The weft patterns were made by myself.

Knitting:
The baby sweater was made according to a pattern provided by the software Designaknit.

Sewing:
The top that I'm wearing was made following a pattern I found in the book "Apprendre à coudre ses robes et petits hauts" by Atelier Charlotte Auzou. They named the pattern "Los Angeles"

Beautiful samples! I bet a thousand ideas pop into your head for every sample you weave.

What an amazing journey you are on. It’s lovely to see your progress and enthusiasm. I really love the weaving samples. What a shame that the jumper didn’t fit, it would have looked fabulous on a little one. Your curtains look great. Enjoy the rest of the semester, I am sure you will! 😊

Thanks for sharing your journey and for using English to do so! I love watching you and feeling your excitement. I’m happy to know that your niece doesn’t have an unusually tiny head 😂. I love weaving and sewing but prefer to make things other than garments. Your shirt is lovely! Looking forward to seeing your project creations. ❤

I knew you'd end up buying a knitting machine. 👍 Also forgot to congratulate you on your new sewing machine. That's super! Great job on the shirt. It looks really good.

I really like the idea of doing a double weave on a rigid heddle loom. I have a 16" rigid heddle loom so if I used this method I could, presumably, create a 32" width piece. I would love to see you do a video on this!

Congrats on the machine!
I really want to try deflected double weave someday, it feels like it'd make a pretty squishy fabric?

How wide are your new heddles? I was thinking you had a 24” rigid heddle loom, but those heddles look bigger on the video.
