Nothing Left to Lose Animatic

Finally got this done just hours before the Steven Universe finale! I was super inspired by Homeworld Bound and just the last episodes of Future in general to make an animatic of this dark version of Steven.

Me, to the Gems and Diamonds: This is why we humans have to be at certain ages to, oh, I don't know *JOIN* the freaking army!!! As well as a few other things!!!

Me still: Look I like you guys and all but you seem to forget A) Steven is *Human* as well as a gem B) He's *NOT* Rose Quartz and C) He's *NOT* Pink Diamond.

Still Me: And while I'm sure you didn't mean to or even realized it (as well as the fact you've gotten better)...he shouldn't be forced into something he's not...And that's basically how you treated him since he was born or since you found out he truly is.

Note: Do *Not* take this post seriously. I just had to get a few things about the Gems and Diamonds off my chest.

This looks amazing! I think Spinel would maybe fit more as varian because is ex-villian to current villain, not saying that Steven is the villain but he turned pretty dark, like spinel as varian would understand and sympathize with.

This is the best version of an animatic based on either SU/SUF or TA; hands down. Ive been watching a ton of animatics like this, even ones wif warrior cats instd cuz love those too, but this one just has hit the feels so much stronger than any of the others. The characters saying each line were chosen so well and it feels very much in universe.

All the songs from the Tangled Series ("Crossing the Line", "Nothing Left to Lose", and "Ready As I'll Ever Be") are so amazing, I listen to these same songs from fan animatic videos which these are my favorite (Steven Universe, My Little Pony, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Wings of Fire, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians) including this video, and they are so amazing and emotional that it almost made me cry 😢🥹😭
