I gave The Push 5 stars. I agree with your assessment that the last sentence was not really a reveal since I believed the mother in the story. The last line was just reaffirmation of what she believed. And it was just so good!

Loved The Push as well, but I felt exactly the same way about the ending, saw it coming from a mile away.
