The juggernaut pulley was the best decision i ever made for mine. I haven't eaten a single belt in the year I've had my new pulley. Used to go through one every time I rode before the change.

I noticed when I sit down on mine it tensions the chain even more and will pop out the chain so I left it a bit lose for when there is weight on the tao

Chains dont need to be taught like a belt does. They do not rely on traction to transmit energy, as the teeth-to-link connection of the chain to spoket does. This is especially important since it gets tighter as the suspension compresses due to the axel getting farther away from the engine as it arcs through its movement. Also, side-to-side alignment of the front and rear sprocket is vital, as is axel-to-motor squarness. Otherwise, even with proper tension, it may jump the sprocket still or cause excessive wear. Otherwise, cool use of a little Chinese quad! There are tons of go fast parts for the 212!

You're never gonna get the chain tight when the engine drive is sitting so much higher than the swing arm you need to put a jack-shaft that's in line with the swing arm ideally closest to the pivot point and then you can also play with gears they also make a 7" secondary pulley for the variable drive that'll lower your ratio give you more grunt. Some Verbal drives have multiple holes to mount to the engine if you can tilt the drive so the back pulley is more in line with the swing arm it would help solve your chain problem.
