Ultra Tow 4x8 Aluminum Trailer Modifications

Northern Tools 4' x 8' ALUMINUM utility trailer. Ultra Tow.
My modifications are intended to keep the trailer LIGHTWEIGHT.... using aluminum where I can.
- I'm using a Bi-fold ATV aluminum ramp (seperated) as the trailer's side walls.
- I added some 1" aluminum square tubing for some side uprights, front and cross bars.
- I've attached the ramps and crossbars with jamb nut bolts (with lock washers) allowing wing nuts (with lock washers) to be used to remove them.
Typical intended use:
- Hauling my large plastic garbage bins to the dump. .... without pesky bungee cords or ratchet straps.
- A 2-kayak hauler. Initially, I intended to use "J"-hook mounts to hold them on their sides on the floor of the trailer.
Seeing my garbage can crossbar, I decided to add another one to the rear, allowing me to simply double stack the kayaks.
Open to new ideas ....
