1 I have a Savior, He’s pleading in glory,
A dear, loving savior, though earth-friends be few;
And now He is watching in tenderness o’er me,
But, oh, that my Savior were your Savior, too.

For you I am praying,

2 I have a Father; to me He has given
A hope for eternity, blessed and true;
And soon will He call me to meet Him in heaven,

Hello Mr Remillard! Visiting this Friday, September 29, 2023. I wanted to sing the song again, but I mostly wept and whispered through it instead. A truly beautiful hymn. Thanks for sharing it; I learned it with another video but in the beginning I didn't write down by who, just "YouTube" but it was back on 1-22-18 and then again on 7-31-18. It could have been a recording of the guy who lead the music for Billy Graham.

Thank you so much for this work. This is the first hymn which my grandfather Revd Viliezhü Kent, under the supervision of Revd J E Tanquist (American missionary), had translated and published under the name "HYMNS AND SCRIPTURE PORTIONS IN RENGMA NAGA" way back in 1924. The work was published by the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society, Kohima, Assam, and printed at Baptist Mission Press, Calcutta.
