Joseph, I respect you, but why why why are you saying the Fed will cut in Sept? Powell did not say that. He basically reiterated that a cut is 'on the table.' There was no commitment whatsoever. Buy you and everyone else is doing their job for them by reacting as if they said they were cutting in Sept. This IS their monetary policy, the jawboning. That is all they have. Mark my words, there will be no cut. There will only be definite guidance given that there WILL be a cut perhaps at the meeting in Nov. You should know this. This is not the old Fed. Go review Powell's speech from Aug 2020. He clearly discusses the changes to the way the Fed will carry out monetary policy. And, btw, there is no 2% target any longer. That is over. You'll see this in that speech.

Why does The host consistently refer to The guest with an incorrect last name. It demonstrates carelessness at minimum and could be deemed disrespectful by some. This has occurred each time I've seen this guest appear on this show with this host.
