How Himanshu Gupta became IAS from tea seller | IKN

Himanshu Gupta cracked UPSC without any formal coaching. Himanshu cleared the Civil Services Examination thrice, most recently in 2020, with AIR 139. While growing up, his father was a daily wager who opened a small tea stall. Himanshu studied for the UPSC exam while working at the stall. He gave his first attempt in 2018 and made it into the Indian Railway Traffic Service. In 2019, he got accepted into the Indian Police Service, and in 2020 he was accepted into the Indian Administrative Service.
