Hey guys! This is an open letter to my sentencing judge; not much more to say about it other than that, haha. Hope you guys enjoy and here’s a nice convenient link to ALL of my social medias, so pick and choose from this excellent menu:

Today is 9 years to the day since I got arrested, this coincidentally was posted the day before the anniversary of the FBI raid at my house. Love you guys. <3 Got to almost 600 likes before a dislike, you're all amazing!!!

Only thing the judge is going to "hear" is that you're married, have a kid, and are gainfully employed. And he is going to take credit for those facts, and be proud of himself for "knowing" he made the right decision and you turned out better for it.

IMHO, as soon as the judge admitted to not understanding what "download" meant, they should've brought the case before a new judge. It's a shame the legal system doesn't work this way.

PKA boys, let's support this guy! Hope he comes back as a guest, he has great chemistry with the boys and I'd like to hear his opinion on some of the more common things debated on the show.

corrupt judges need to be stripped of power and held accountable for the tyranny they enforce. People like this judge are sociopathic and have no place in our society.

Dude send this to your governor and see if you can get a pardon. Slim chance but your argument is professional, sincere, and emotional.

You are much kinder and more forgiving than I am. I will never get over having you stolen from me for so many years. The stress of worrying every night for so many years, wondering what you were enduring. Seeing deep scratches on your face and throat from being attacked by mentally ill inmates. I’m convinced that’s why I’ve had cancer twice. You are an amazing man, Joshy. I always knew you’d prove them wrong. Maybe one day I’ll forgive but it’s not today. I love you.

I have never donated to anyone on the internet that wasn't dying. However, I would throw $100 to Josh, just to sue the shit out of this judge.

Just remember to step back and breathe. Your life is currently back under your control. One step at a time brother. This redemption arc is a great one. Good luck.

There is no justice in the system. There is just us in the system.

Having been to jail myself, this story makes me so sad. The judges, lawyers and people I worked with in the legal system respected my education and my "potential" as a college graduate and engineer. As a result, they gave me very favorable treatment and agreed to pretrial diversion. But things could have easily been different. If I couldn't afford bail, if I couldn't afford the local lawyer who personally knew the judge, or if I wasn't a "upstanding member of society with a future", things could have been very much worse for me. Even with the minimal time I spent there, I have residual trauma from the uncertainty in my job and future opportunities that being in jail left me with. Thank you so much for speaking out. God bless you

No can deny what light you have inside you. No matter what injustice was done to you through malice or banality you held that light. I’m so sorry

RSK. In all seriousness Josh, you are a great guy. You’re success, and voice will have nothing but a great affect. I hope you hop on PKA again you were by far one of the top 5 best guests out of the 500+ episodes.

well done josh, not everyone would have the balls to write a letter like that to a judge that put them away for so long, i just hope he respects that aswell & see's he was wrong to sentence you in the manner he did

Passionate, thoughtful and eloquent. Sadly, if the judge ever sees the man you've turned into he'll probably see it as a vindication of what the system did to you.

The criminal justice system is fundamentally broken. I was accused of a crime I didn't commit and I had to go through HELL to clear my name.
I never got sentenced for a crime but I was treated in a way that I thought wasn't possible in a free and fair democracy.
I am deeply sorry for your experience. In my opinion you should have never done jail time.

The judge should serve the time he sentenced you and pay you for lost wages and emotional damages. And revoked of his license.

That judge and prosecution must never heard about MW2 lobbies. What a bunch of spineless poons.

This is not just about the judge. Every link in the chain that led to this needs to be held accountable. Particularly the prosecutor, who chose to pursue bogus charges in bad faith simply to get a conviction. Many prosecutors don't give a damn about justice, only forwarding their careers with convictions, right or wrong. There needs to be accountability for any prosecutor who knowingly pursues charges in bad faith.
