It’s weird. I like both of these guys more for this interaction. Frederic’s willingness/expectation to drop the gloves was refreshing to see in a young guy, then he didn’t hit the legend after he realized he wasn’t defending himself. Ovi is one of the GOAT’s and showed he’d rather score goals then fight rookies. Both hilarious.

This kid saved himself a lot of hurt by Ovechkin denying him this fight. Not only does Ovi outweigh him by nearly 35 pounds, you have some jungle type characters on the Caps coming down the pipe in the minutes that follow during this game and for the rest of the seasons series. This is a boy with some skills still trying to fight the Russian Machine
