“Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading.”

It is simultaneously amazing and depressing that how much time it takes to build a magazine and how much time it takes to empty it

Reloading shotgun shells is something I did for my daddy when I was young, then did for myself as I got past ten years old or so. My bros and I were taught gun safety and respect from the get go, and it has served me well all my life.
Awesome video. Very nice 👍

This reminds me of my grandpa, he taught me all of this. Love you grandpa Dave! You’re a badass, both y’all

I remember grandpa shooting crows off the pear tree with his 223. Looking back, those bullets travelled farther than I thought.

Here I was always sifting and dumping my walnut media. Gonna use the tumbler like that for now on.

I've been reloading since I got out of the Army. Lots of moving parts. I love it

What an amazing mount of a Gemsbok! I was born and raised in Southern Africa and hunting these guys was a prize! They’re strong animals too. I once saw one put it’s horn through my grandfather’s radiator after it had been shot with a 30-06. Charged the truck and put its horn through the front like it was butter. We had to walk 10 km back to town and have the truck towed home. HahahHa. It’s a memory I will never forget and I cherish it for life.

We reload our old rounds, yes it takes more money for equipment but it beats buying ammo for today's prices

Something I really like about seeing this process is that yes, I'm sure it's very time consuming, but there's also a zen to it, especially when you're doing it for yourself and not for some dork who gets paid more than you for telling you you're doing it wrong. Seems like a very relaxing pastime that you can go do whenever you have spare resources and time and come away with plenty of ammo stockpiled for when you decide to use it.

These machines are a dream for me. I love every second in this video. ❤️

Imagine if he only showed one he made, then cut to an outdoor range where he shot the round, then paused, then got the brass and went back inside.
Lol
