DC Bombshells Wonder Woman Review

Dan reviews DC Bombshells Wonder Woman.

She's too big to be put on the shelf next to DC Icons or Marvel Legends and she's part of a new DC Bombshells line inspired by retro styling.

But DC did this Wonder Woman proud in the paint apps department specifically in regards to the face. Hasbro should take notice.

DC icons has scaled up as well, is now similar to Marvel Legends. The adjustable leg joints have been applied to many recent DC icons as well.

I'm pretty sure bombshells started out as a monthly variant theme for DC across all its comic titles. The statues are based on all the different variant covers.

Dc collectibles' new 52 line fits in scale with this alongside with any dc collectibles figures before the release of icons, arkhamverse figures, dc direct figure, tv series figures etc.

Sorry to hear they didn't replace your Flash! DCC have been really nice to me and replaced mine, so I'm sorry that didn't happen for you.
In fairness to DCC though, they're constantly looking to improve their figures, so I think this is just another of their steps in the right direction; you can also tell the improvement in quality from the latest icons and movie figures.
The scale is also because they want to keep the Bombshells in the 7" scale, like NECA figures and their own movie/designer lines.

Not a big fan of the torso, I dunno, just looks a little weird. Love that she has Double jointed elbows, take notes Hasbro! Female figures are perfectly fine with double jointed elbows!!!!

Dc collectibles has lost the plot, they give these bombshells the best articulation possible but refuse to do that for their flagship icons and their tv show figures. They could've made figures to scale with the marvel legends but oversize this figure. Smh 🤦‍♂️

Uploaded nearly 2.5 years ago with only a few hundred Thumbs Up as opposed to the thousands of upwardly pointing thumbs on other Toy Galaxy vids. I guess that decades of toy manufacturers ignoring WW and stores not carrying them because "no one buys girl action figures"... is a bit more spot-on than I'd like to believe. Regardless thanks to Dan and Crew for spotlighting my girl Diana!

Wow! Lovely figure, especially for the price!
DC Collectibles has used the drop down hip articulation twice before on their short lived film line with BvS Superman and Armored Batman.
The expression is a little extreme, but the one the figure does come with is done so well, it's hard to complain.
They released a Superman and an Aquaman in the Bombshells statue line, I'd love to see some guys done in the figure line as well.

I'm a Marvel fan, but DC hit it out of the ball park with their Bombshell characters. I can actually see them painted on the front of WWII bombers and fighters.

I know you're not a fan of the character but I think Harley Quinn is probably the best figure of the first wave. I think she has the best face sculpt, outfit and accessories.
