These are questions that I am often asked. Whether through my website, during public appearances, or when I am out and about shopping in Garden Centres.

And bulbs are one of my personal favourite horticultural delights. As contained within each flower bulb is a huge amount of energy ready to surge and develop into a delightful flowering plant which after lighting up our gardens goes back to sleep until it is ready to wow us again.

I managed to catch the Farmer Gracy sale in December where the bulbs were 90% off, I planted them as soon as they arrived and some are already sprouting up.

The main timing question is how late you can leave it so that the spring bulb's can be planted and will grow in time but late enough to be in the sale!
