The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Otolaryngology Residency Program is a five-year program that accepts five residents per year. Program director Brad DeSilva, MD, shares details of the training program, which includes two three-month research electives and mission work options.
Ohio State’s otolaryngology residency is one of the largest in the country and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The ENT department at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center was ranked third in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 “Best Hospitals” and offers residents exposure to subspecialties such as head and neck cancer surgery; neurotology; pediatric otolaryngology; allergy and immunology; laryngology; and facial plastics.
