Has there ever been a TV news anchor who is as honest, direct, self-effacing and gracious as Diane Sawyer? I watch her every night just to see how honestly she delivers the news and with a certain grace and positive outlook that is every bit as Walter Cronkite in his day!!!

There's a bunch of us in Louisville who would love for Ms Sawyer to come back and do the weather on the WAVE-TV 3 evening news just one more time... that was before my time, and I have looked and not found any video of her weather spots, where she used to give a literary quotation at the end of each weather report just to make the segment more interesting. Don't forget your home town, Diane! We still love you!
