I still remember my mom telling me about this band. Then waking me up to tell me that he died. It was a sad day.

I was 16 going to 17 in a month when I heard this. I was on my laptop just chilling, I pulled up another tab, then the news feed had a big picture of chester, at first I thought it was him telling everyone they were gonna do what music they wanted. I scrolled down and it said he committed suicide. I remember being absolutely shocked, cause no celebrity deaths got to me until this one happened. Him and Linkin Park always helped me during my dark times and clear my head, especially when I need comfort if something bad happens. I'm 22 and I still can't believe it happened. R.I.P Chester Bennington.
