In 2014 I had to love my fur baby enough to let him go and be free of his pain, I had a vet assist in the process it was on my terms, that morning I fed him a bison steak for breakfast and for lunch ground bison the vet came to my home, he was euthanized here in his own bed surrounded by his favorite toys and I was by his side, he was then taken away to be cremated and I got his remains back a few days later. I still have his remains. Some are in a cremation teddy bear the rest are still in the pretty container that he was delivered to me in.
It was the hardest decision that I ever had to make.

I cremated my princess. I was there from her last breath and told her to go meet my other dogs i had growing up. And play with as many small tennis balls as she wants.
