Monks at Dharma Drum Mountain Temple in Taiwan strike their temple bells 108 times to ring in the Year of the Tiger. The striking of the bells symbolises the removal of 108 kinds of human worries.

Many of these giant bells were destroyed because of there healing abilities. People use to stand in these bells to receive this healing.
