Parasyte is a science fiction horror manga series written and illustrated by Hitoshi Iwaaki, and published in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine from 1988 to 1995.

Hitoshi Iwaaki (Japanese: 岩明 均 Hepburn: Iwaaki Hitoshi, born July 28, 1960) is a Japanese manga artist, whose works include the science-fiction/horror series Parasyte.

when i first started watching i thought that i would have probably chopped my arm off. having to negotiate each time i do something would be horrendous, even if nothing bad would happen from a parasyte that will likely kill me.
