It's not even the fact that hulk is smart. Smart hulk in the comics still has the strength and savagery of normal hulk. Sometimes he even battles with dealing with his rage, which is very interesting

You can tell how much they hate Hulk when they make the gamma radiation from using the Infinity Gauntlet actually hurt Hulk instead of dramatically empowering him.

Not only that they actually had him in an arm sling afterwards when Hulk has one of the best healing factors in the Marvek universe

His power level is essential to his character. Thor has his hammer Captain America has a shield. Hulk has his strength. You can defend the brothers all you want. They should have kept Hulk off world

They messed up the hulk when they recast the character could’ve stuck with Ed Nortons hulk instead of having the hulk looking like the actor.. the hulk isn’t supposed to be like Bruce Banner cause that’s basically what MCU did

IMO the 2008 Hulk would NOT have joined the Avengers. He would have helped in fighting Thanos Army IF he was in the mood and afterwards he'd tell the Avengers to stay out of his way

No that’s not Excuse You need to respect your Fanbase of that character writ in why is the character weaker Show why you’re not as powerful justified them being weak that’s the least you can do put it in the story make it make sense

Look I didn’t mind Smart Hulk in EndGame. But I don’t want this to be Hulk from now on. Don’t wanna see a smart Hulk vs Wolverine movie.

I love the Hulk one of the best characters I would love to see the hulk to take on Wolverine. One of the best story arcs between the Hulk versus Wolverine.

Yeah, Marvel has been doing that for pretty much all their characters for years now.
Remember when Vision entered the scene in Age of Ultron ? He's powered by an infinity stone, can dematerialize himself, access the entirety of Internet, shut such a powerful entity such as Ultron from accessing it, fly, super force, shoot laserbeams from his head, wield Mjolnir... etc... Everybody felt he instantly became the most cheated character of the entire MCU. What happened when the Russos got to him ? Civil War : Complete bum, unable to resist Wanda's powers even though he's supposed to be able to phase in and out of reality, and his laser beam is somehow slower than Falcon's flight wings, so he can miss his target and shoot allies instead of foes ("I was... distracted..." Like, really ? an Infinity stone powered walkind and talking quantic computer that can process informations infintely faster and deeper than any human brain could ever hope to ?). And let's not even talk about Infinity war, which was really painful to watch, to see him just become a walking (not even flying) Mcguffin.
Dr. Strange : When his first movie came out, I felt like, ok, all the other MCU characters can now go home and eat ice cream, this dude, who just time-looped one of the most powerful beings in all the dimensions is more powerful - and smarter - than any of the other characters we've seen in the MCU.
What happened with Taika and the Russos ? Gag character, then defeated while not using once his greatest weapon (as Thanos himself mentioned) that helped him defeating Dormammu.
Hulk... well, you all know what happened with Hulk.

Starting to think that for all the greatness that Infinity war and Endgame gave us, the Russos are just simply not that good with broken power levels characters, as they are much more the type of "grounded" storytelling directors (as demonstrated in Winter Soldier and Civil War), with heavy storylines with drama, tension, and a certain level of grit and realism, which obviously don't gel well with characters like Vision, Thor, Hulk, and Dr.Strange, whose power level are of cosmic levels. If anything, they are to blame for the overall poor direction that Dr Strange, Vision, Thor and Hulk have been taking on for these past few years.
