utility locating is the utility company's job, If you miss something you are responsible for damages, not to mention possibility manslaughter.Call 811 in New England, its the law. Its also free.
Tracing equipment is fine but not the only tool 811 uses, like detailed underground maps.

OMG, It appears to me to be a complete fictional story line. How long did it take to write the script? Clearly no practical experience. 14:30 - it's called a sonde and not running a tracer wire. You guys missed all the basics of practical experience.
