This week I took a look at some Japanese Puzzles Boxes. A traditional craft that dates back over 100 years these beautiful boxes feature extrordinary marquetry and come in a range of styles as I show. Not exeedingly difficult but very nice objects in themselves with a real history.

The craftsmanship on this boxes are amazing. they piece different types of woods together to create the pattern

Did I subscribe for a year? ago, I really enjoy your relaxing videos. As a young lad, I saw mount Fuji sailing from Yokohama to Nagoya but that was 45 years ago.

When I was a kid, I saw "Village of the Damned" and have wanted one of those Japanese puzzle boxes ever since. I like the Yosegi pattern it's so beautiful. Thank you for telling us how it's made. I didn't know that. Such craftsmanship. I want to get a 7 or 10 step square one someday.

One of the best puzzles i've ever seen. You must be doing a lot of research to be finding these underrated gems.

Btw, Congrats on crossing 100k. I was expecting it to happen the next week. So i logged off and missed on you reaching the milestone.
