Molly enjoying the change from a romance to her doing an apocalypse is adorable, because she doesnt think she's strong or any good at things, and Giovanni is basically a great boss who hypes her up. He believes she can do these things, probably genuinely, and it makes her so happy to have someone support and believe in her in her life. She can believe she can do things, the more that he encourages and says that she can do them. It's a cute friendship, i love them very much.

That's the kind of bad guy he truly respects and honors. The only team he might respect more would be Team Skull. Gozma and Giovani are very much on a similar wavelength.
