It's a 400 bucks standard ultrasonic cleaner, which doesn't even fit the build volume, ridiculous.

I think this falls in quite difficult price range. Hobbyists often want cheaper and people who use it for work could spend a bit more and get Form 3 or even Form 2 for not that much more. Like you mentioned with exchangeable resin tanks, they cost, but then again they are much less effort to use and if time spend on the printer is also money.. I bet its easier to use some cheap 3rd party resins with this than Form, so thats another factor that lowers the cost of use in comparison. If you compare this cleaner to Form Wash, you can clearly see that one is a basic ultrasound cleaner with logo slapped to the side and one is a product especially made for washing prints from a certain printer. Latter one is the way to go if you want credibility in pro markets, prior way is if you want to sell something that works for people who dont mind tinkering with the washing process a bit.

A great peek at what appears to be a useful machine.
But its "ecosystem" isn't very compelling.
It seems best to buy the printer, then source curing and cleaning hardware elsewhere.

I think I'm going to buy one of these. I need something that gets a very high level of detail for jewelry making. This video is a couple years old. What do people think of this printer these days?

Hi, I have a question about the GSM case, why did you print it at 45°? it should fit when printed flat isn't it? normally the dimension are suitable for any GSM case

Hi Joe! Nice review, as usual. IMHO a resin 3D printer can not print final parts. Anyway I use resin prints for making silicone moulds that can produce PUR final parts. You should try it ;)

This is spendy but it does look like they have addressed most of the issues these types of printers have. I do have to question if they actually solve the Z wobble issue with this design. It does not appear to be that much different design wise than other printers in this category that fatigue and eventually start to wobble on the Z axis. Its hard to see because there is zero images or information about it in any of the marketing I have found.

Its a printer for companies that dont care too much about money

I wouldnt be comparing Inkspire to Photon, but damn, 2000$+ is way overpriced for LCD technology. If they claim its about community support... well..
Prusa SL1 is at a half of its price? Not even to mention budget EPAX X1 which is 500$ - IMHO cheapest for its quality (heavy duty Z-axis, great FEP vat, customer service etc.)

Hi Joe, would be great to see a more user friendly handing of the resin as it's today. Hope we will see some improvements within the upcoming month's.

Pretty disapointed with the review, sure it a good working resin printer but for a little over $2000 it should do more then the 1400$ prusa offering and certainly more then the 400$ chinese resins. Bang for buck this is a bad deal. Not even a carbon fan filter for the fumes or a auto resin measure or tilting vat. Did not compare it to other printers at all.

For that price I'd expect the machine to clean itself and make me a coffee in the morning...

and also dont forget the smokers out there. no smoking near resin printers and especially when cleaning with ipa. also always wear safety glasses when cleaning. last thing you need is ipa splash with resin in it in your eyes. :)

Ok, I understand many of the comments. $1, 600 + for a resin printer should have some serious technology to warrant that price point. If you compare it with a unit like the Epax X1, that besides the WI-Fi, it covers most if not all the features at $379.00 right now, is a difficult pill to swallow. I believe what they are trying to say is, show me the extra $1, 300 of features and technology over units like the Epax X1. I believe that its not there, and that this unit is way overpriced. Not that is a bad unit, just over priced.

Nice review but did that print really take 9 hours?!

What can I say.... Someones been sniffing the resin too much. I cant see how this is different from the elegoo mars which is $250. I cant see what warrants a price tag 8 times as much.

Nice review! I'm still not rushing out to get a resin printer... Just too messy and smelly. I also don't usually need to print anything small and detailed enough to justify it. But I love 3D printing, and I'm trying to make it a career path as well, so I will end up getting one. Probably something like a Photon though... ;)

That ultrasonic cleaner looks like an expensive and inferior Prusa CurWa.
