The WEDDiNG DAY~ Getting ready & THE RECEPTiON 🥹💍

Well, Hailey’s wedding day finally arrived, and all of the girls came over to have their hair and make up done. We made a huge charcuterie for all of them to enjoy while having coffee.

Then it was time for me to get ready and headed out the door to the hall to get Hailey ready to go for the wedding. She wanted to do some. First looks with her dad and her brothers and was surprised by getting picked up by one of our Clydesdale horses.

The reception was so fun and then it was time for her and David to head out on their honeymoon and start their new life together.

When I realized my daughter would not be coming back home to live, I went into the shower and sat on the floor crying. I still wanted to be mom as it had always been before she went off to college. Those kids are always going to be at your house like they are now. Great things are always happening with your family. Sarah was a wedding super star bestie, hairstylist, and bridesmaid! She did almost everyone's hair and had nerves of steel! I did the bride's hair once at a wedding, and I almost died of shakes.😂 Honestly, all of you worked SO hard to make the wedding special and memorable! Heather, God Abides! I went through "empty nest" with our Heavenly Father holding me everyday! My husband passed away from cancer at 43 yrs young when our son was 4 years old. His college of choice was away and it was important for him to make that journey and have the total college experience. God was with us both. It is in the quiet that the comfort of the Holy Spirit brings peace. Praying for peace for you!😊❤

We have 4 children. Our youngest two (19 and 17) are seniors this year. Our oldest two are married and each have a child. We won’t ever be true empty nesters (we have a special needs child), but I will miss all the hussle and bussle of school aged children. We love when our grandchildren are in town and we have all our kids together.
