I used to skate Tensor in 2000 and upwards. They looked completely different back then. When and why did they revamp the design? They had a unique and stylish look with the baseplate slider. Some had the logo stamped or engraved into the baseplate and they had cool color schemes; blue/yellow, orange/grey etc.

Just picked up a pair I’m coming from Venture HIghs 5.25” and I’m stoked! They turn deep and smooth like Indy’s and are so much lighter.. also My flip tricks were still on point they feel crisper lighter Independent IMO.. Even lighter than my ventures and Thunders

Just got a set of the aluminum all terrain geometry. I can't tell you how many naysayers and haters Tensor has out there. So many people say they turn terrible, they're weaker than indys (isn't every other truck weaker than indys?), they are only for really technical skaters, etc. All this fuss just made me want to try them more. If they're awful its a $40 mistake, but I doubt they are going to be. They certainly seem solid out of the box, and if they are good enough for Rodney Mullen, they are probably good enough for me.

I've been riding the previous mag light truck. After swapping the bushings, it's been good. I've nothing while skating bowls I could use more turn. Hopefully these trucks will do the job, if I don't increase my wheel size. I street skate mostly anyway.

I got the regular non hollow 5.25” and they are still very light compared to Indy’s and lighter than my venture highs

Those base plate nubs are fucking genius, great ingenuity. Every time I set up a new deck, my trucks come lose after like a day of usage from the bolt heads settling into the wood and if I don't have a tool handy I'm usually fucked.

Can i use different brands if bushing on these tensor trucks? Like the trucks, but wanted to play with a harder bushing.

Do Tensor changed their axles length? In the past a 5.5 would have a 8.125 inch but now they say is 8.25? Can you confirm this for real, like measure it with a tape? Thanks

Picked some tensor trucks up about 2 months ago and they have completely bent.. the wheels are bent in towards the board and I don't skate with tight trucks and only way 70kg.. has anyone else have this issue?
