I agree partially with Barkley about Magic Johnson and Larry Bird but the majority of players, especially the great ones should be thanking Spencer Haywood.
Haywood made it accessible for guys like Magic, Jordan, Isiah, Worthy, Shaq and even Barkley to leave college early to enter the NBA.
Remember Haywood had to go to the Supreme Court while facing death threats and being blackballed for challenging the white man's authority.
