With one over hand knot at the bottom of that, does that loop hold under tension? Lose any fish do to the knot slipping ?? Just got my #single barrels that you recommended and got hooks coming. I want to get some mad up for the walleye run!

I can confirm that this works even on a Pike. I only fish Pikes but i didnt wanna buy carbon and some super expensice pieces.
Yes the stigner line is a normal nylon line BUT it is a secondary hook on your bait and not the primary that is one metal piece thingy with weight. That said I am no professional or anything like that, i just go and throw soft plastic lures and get Pikes up to 10kgs. Cant tell if this will work on double digit +

How do you attach that to your hook then? Couldn’t the loop open and come off?
