I have to say, I am not loving MCU's treatment of Hulk/Banner.

The fact that he the only MCU character whose standalone movie flopped so hard as to not get a sequel, I can chalk it up to marvel still figuring things out at the time.

However, even after we got Ruffalo's hulk, it's like they have no idea what to do with the character. He was pretty interesting in the beginning, but as the MCU progressed, he just became less and less memorable. It was bad enough that he regularly got bested by other Avengers in fights; but since Ragnarok, he's just turned into a dumb comic relief. I thought the final insult was in infinity wars, where even his intellect is nerfed and Banner was seen struggling with time travel (Banging on the machine? REALLY?), until Tony figures it out like THAT and saves the day... but I guess I was wrong, as apparently now he doesn't even get to be the expert at being HULK?

What the hell, Marvel.
