And if I think about it William in High School is more hilarious than scary, I bursted out laughing when I saw him, he was kinda trying to look tough. 😭😭

Cool! I made a headcanon that William as a kid didn’t talk much and had a kind off stigma around death. His parents were very Christian based and William grew up learning about God and sins and how he’ll die in hell by himself if he wasn’t perfect. his mother was constantly arguing with his older sister because the sister wanted to be independent and go to university and be successful, while her mother wanted her to be pretty and learn house chores and learn “how to be a good wife” so that she can marry a rich husband. Back in the 1960s (I made William around 30 during the 1980s), there was a big stigma around homophobia, sexism and just wives and husband roles in general.

William and mrs Afton (Catherine Schmidt) only married because of their parents. Arranged marriage. Both of their parents were very religious and they wanted them to get married for reputation, tax and money purposes. They had kids out of peer pressure.

Idk I just wanted to make my alternative universe have more research about how it was back then. William’s mother was an angry, perfectionist and stubborn woman with grey hair neatly in a bun. His father was a man with brown hair and blue eyes, he was very naive and just let his wife yell at his children. He like puzzles and books lol.

His sister was a girl who studied lots and valued her school a lot. She was often bullied for her blonde braids because she was a “nerd” and no boy would like her. She didn’t want to follow her mother’s rules anyway.
