Good day my brother... well after consideration of your post to me, I began to consider where was I getting the video footage from... then it hit me like a ton of bricks... thank you for the suggestion... I was looking at a downloaded (downgraded) version of my footage stored on my cell phone's memory... the good stuff (if you will) that I wanted, was saved on the microSD card stored in the camera... So you know what I did right? Yep, pulled the footage directly from the card and OMG!!! What a major difference. Yes, sir the video was crisp, clean and just what I'd expected. So again, thanks for suggesting to me about the playback source I was using, it got me to thinking. Happy Flying my brother! Peace...

Is the phantom 3 easler to fly the the XK380X? Not sure I'm up to all the tinkering around with the 380. Had some problems with toilet bowing when I tried it with the g-2d gimbal. Also was trying to fly with FPV. Could it be a low batterys in the controller or not having the 380 faceing away from the controller?
Then I watch you video on phantom 3. Looks a lot easier to fly with out the toilet bowl. Think of sellin the 380 and pop for a phantom 3.

I know you use Windows Movie Maker for your editing - do you have any issues with this when using Phantom files, or do you have to use a converter first ?

Hi! I can see that u have pahntom as well, I need ur advice. Is the x 380 worth to buy vs Phantom 3 standard ? For me it important 2 things..fly time...and with x380 price for 1 battery i can get 5 but 1 battery for phantom it expencive at least for me, and second thing im not looking for a drone that gave u the trust up in the air. ANd phantom have awsome features but i have seen so many fly aways that im scared to buy a phantom. So i need ur help, is X380 couse to a phantom, gave us that trust wen u fly that drone ? Thank you!!

Hey DJ, you are correct as usual. I bought the X-380 a few months ago (thanks to your reviews) and fell is love with its ease of use and modest cost. But as I start getting deeper into this addiction I yearned for something more... Enter the PHANTOM 3! This intelligent and sophisticated beauty takes flying to another level (Telemetry, OSD, FPV...) I just got my baby last week and have already logged 7 flights. Flying this bird is like the X380 on steroids! (NO COMPARISON) I'm loving it! If it gets any better than this (and I'm sure it will), I'm gonna need another job. Maybe I'm still in the honeymoon stage but DJI is the real deal ("except no substitutes"). You called it, it's the Phantom 3 by a TKO!

Hey my man nice video I also have the standard and just upgraded to the DBS mod and boy what an awesome upgrade I did a test and went 1.7 miles and still had video feed no lag. I also had 3 bars left on my RC controler. So if you thinking about more range the DBS mod is worth every penny $100.10 with shipping. Thanks again for the video.

great vid man. I just ordered the x-380 last week ($235 with coupon code from Banggood) due here Saturday. but now I've got that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach thinking I maybe should have waited and sprung for the dji! o well! keep up the good work . really enjoyable to watch videos.

Great video! We loved the DJI when we first got it. It is not out of the box though. A lot of prep and updating.Your right about one thing the camera is worth the price in itself. The 2.7 is fantastic. It is definitely designed for video and pictures. We live by the ocean and wow With that said. After the last update though we can't get the satellite to lock and in flight the screen goes blank when that happens . You shouldn't have to relies so much on the cell phone. to operate your Bird When we finally got an answer about why were probably having connectivity issues and feature issues the company say that not all phones are going to function with the new update because of the features. Hughhhh? Now we have to get new phones? And after about the 5th flight the Phantom took off the motor crapped out and it flipped backwards and wouldn't shut down at first. Disappointing. You get what you pay for. At least we have a nice camera. Now were waiting for a motor and hope that's what it is. Owe yeah they'll fix it for free. The shipping to them is 200 hundred dollars. When it worked it was beautiful though and the feature are nice if you own the right phone. Peace

Have you ever tried using any of the features like follow me or fly around point or wayward points they say this can do all of that but I'm trying to figure out how. I just found a dji video that showed what the controls are and how to bind the tx and how to engage rth and it said the f switch is s1 at the bottom and I think you have to be in f mode for it to work I'm going to try it tomorrow. if you have already figured this out let me know lol
