If anyone ever tries to tell you what the definitive best method of outreach for SMMA is…
…they’re wrong.
Put it like this, if you went to a doctor and asked what the best medicine was, would you not want them to ask what was wrong with you?
If you had any allergies? What you had taken previously? What had worked for you before?
Outreach is exactly like that.
It’s dependent on your niche, dependent on your location, dependent on yourself.
If you live somewhere where cold calling is difficult, for example, you may prefer to stick to email or LinkedIn.
Likewise for certain types of clients, you’ll never be able to get them cold calling - but they will respond to emails.
You may also not be comfortable building a personal brand on Instagram, and getting in front of a camera, or aggressively cold calling.
However, all of this doesn’t mean there’s not a right answer.
It just means it’s a little harder to find.
It means research: research into your niche, and your fellow agency owners - what brings them the most success?
Then you put that into practice and test.
That’s what works best.
