Das Konzert fand am 22.3.2006 während des Crossroads Festivals in der Bonner Harmonie statt.

Die im musikalischen Mittelpunkt Europas entstandene Londoner Gruppe Fanfarlo kombiniert Folk und Indie-Pop mit aussagekräftigen elektronischen Elementen. Die nach einem Roman von Charles Baudelaire benannte Band um den schwedischen Sänger und Tausendsassa Simon Balthazar erzeugt dabei ein perfektes Klangbild kombiniert mit tiefgehender Folkmusik.
Im Rahmen ihres 2010 auf dem Label Atlantic in Europa erschienenen Albums „Reservoir“ kommen neben den üblich verdächtigen Instrumenten auch relative Exoten wie Banjo, Mandoline oder Trompete zum Einsatz.
