You just taught me how to get a colony out of a friend's tree. He wants to remove the tree because it is too close to a new addition to his home. He hired a tree removal service that will not remove the tree until the bees are gone. He thought his only remedy was an exterminator. I will try this method to save these bees. Thanks.

Goodday sir. What did you do with the queen? Any reason for manhandling the queen?
I would simply put the frames in, actually they should have been in there already and closed the lid.
I suppose there is an opening from bottom to top, so as long as I drill below the bees +/- the smoke
will reach them? Thanks for sharing, Cobus🐳

Good to see you back. that was to easy. will you make look that way. when you moved the camera in on the tree truck I seen the cone, it is a shame you could not get to it.
