That was such a great query! I was an AMM mentee (and then a mentor!) and I love-hate writing queries. So difficult to get it right, but so satisfying when those requests roll in and the work pays off!

That query is so good!!! I couldn’t imagine not getting an agent with such a fantastic query! Is humorous, intriguing, pretty voicy (in the good way) and screams middle grade!!!

Congratulations!!! It's so helpful to see examples of query letters & hear what resonated with agents. It would be really cool if you did end up doing a video comparing the two queries you sent out. My current WIP is something that is highly commercial in some ways and extremely not commercial in others. I'm still struggling to figure out how to pitch it and how to walk that line
