Helmet VS Halberd. Crash test

What is a real problem in HMB: dangerous weapon or bad quality armor? That is the question this crash test held in Sunnyvale (CA, USA) should answer to.
The main point of the experiment: try to break through the dome bascinet halberd, made in one of the workshops of Nizhny Novgorod (Russia).

The crash test is headed by HMBIA (HMB International Association) marshal Eric Fick. The process is followed by the Head of HMBIA Marshals` Committee Alexander Davydov.

Technical characteristics of the helmet:

- the dome was made of non-hardened carbon steel 0.3%,
-the thickness of the dome itself was 2.5 - 3mm,
-the sides were 2 mm thick.

At the risk of stating the obvious.
a. The helmet would have had padding to help obviate the blunt force trauma delivered by the halberd.
b. Yes the helmet was dented but thats what they're there for.
c. The wearer of said helmet will be moving thus making it difficult for such blows to be delivered.
d. If the wearer was in that position he's already down and in a lot of trouble and the guy with the halberd will be working him over and and not just belting the helmet.
I thought it was a pretty good demo on the resilience of the helmet. I definitely would be wearing one in a melee.

I've seen actual helmets look worse than that in real fight and the wearer walked away. Now, I don't recommend it, he probably has a traumatic brain injury even if he doesn't realize it... But this test is pretty realistic. Some people actually prefer mild steel helmets believing that the helmet crumples like the crumple zone on a car to help keep the passenger less damaged. I don't know if it's true but it is a sound theory.

They are so meticulous on the weights and thicknesses yet they can’t get correctly made armor

1. This weapon should NOT be considered as HMB legit
2. The helm is mild steel
3. Those guys are morons, they shouldn't be allowed in or near battle zones!

Bad quality helmet and weapon. The weld lines indicate that it was made fast and cheap. The helmet should be raised out of one whole sheet, varying in gages through out the helmet and tempered correctly. Also if the weapon was tempered correctly, it wouldn't have been turning that much and been able to retain its original shape. Should redo the test with a proper weapon and armor, that is as realistic as possible. If I were to go to battle I would never bring faulty armor or weapons.

this crash test is more dangerous than the top of the halberd.

why didn't you remove the bumps and put the helmet back on a real persons head and repeat the test?

guess what, noone would do it.

I have a message that I’m sharing where I can, some may not want to hear this, but I ask that we stay polite and seek truth together. 😊

Love is an action. Feed the hungry, house the homeless, father the orphan, and protect the defenseless and vulnerable.

Read the Word for yourself, not only relying on others for guidance. Pray for guidance.Yahushua/Yeshua - His Hebrew name who is usually called (Jesus) taught to keep the whole Word. Including the Law/Torah. Matthew 5:17 “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [g]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! 19 Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [h]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [i]keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Read 1 John. John tells us that sin is lawlessness, and that we must keep the commandments. Trust in the atonement of Yahushua/Yeshua who is usually called Jesus, and keep God (YHWH)'s whole Word/commandments. Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
