The Protech Godfather and Godson

Which will you choose, the Son or the Father?

I have a Godson (rose gold) because I can’t legally carry a Godfather. Both elegantly simple knives.

Is there any safety for when carrying in pocket or do you just have to be extra careful ?

Just in June 2022 Virginia took down the anti switchblade statues. Now we have to work out how to determine what constitutes “concealed”. I’m getting on in years and am heavily arthritic. I use the switchblades because I can open and close them reliably. I normally carry a Hogue A-01 4” Auto for breaking down boxes etc. there’s only about 1/2” of the handle showing at the top of my pocket… I’m not intentionally trying to conceal it…it’s just the way it’s supposed to be carried. Am I breaking the law?

I own one a Godson. I highly recommend either one and all Protechs. In my opinion, the best brand of automatic knives alongside Microtech.

It’s me again. I’m looking at both the godfather and the godson with measured reservations on each. Both of these blades appear to have only one genuine purpose and that is to kill an attacker. In my mind these qualify as murder weapons. I’m gonna search out the largest Les George auto I can find….I am curious though if say we’re talking about the Godfather, if that 4” blade was place in its closed position on the “bad guy’s “ soft beer belly and the switch were activated, would all 4” of blade enter in the targets belly?
