Hey all! Quick clarification: The GX will be available with a third row but not on the off-road Overtrail trim. Sorry for any confusion! -Tommy

What I find most impressive is how you can make a review with so many people around you who are also checking out the vehicle. You were totally unfazed and just made it feel natural as you navigated around them to show off the vehicles' features. Great job Tommy! Pro level for sure.

The GX is probably the better way to go especially since Toyota dealers will mark up the LC to numbers that will meet or exceed the cost of the Lexus.

You really did a good job...your review of the SUVs is more than wonderful. Lots of information in short...keep it up...thank you

Thank you for this comparison. I enjoyed viewing the new GX. I find it interesting that the biggest (to me) change in the GX from all the units I've had for the last 10 years is that the trunk "FINALLY" flips up instead of to the side. I've been waiting for this change forever.

Thanks for the info Tommy. Been watching the channel for a while now. The older you get the more you are looking like your dad. The family connection makes it more endearing. Maybe this will the void of old FJ Cruiser owners vs a 4Runner

I'm excited for the new Land Cruiser, but 3 words will keep me from buying one: Additional Dealer Markup.

What I like about the Lexus is the trunk flooring is more flush vs the LC it has a small lip due to the batteries. Hopefully the twin turbo V6 becomes an option down the road for the LC and Tacoma

Dang, that's a good looking ride. If only I could buy a Toyota without being bent over by the distributors, and dealers in my area. But, that's an impossibility.

Can’t wait to see the comparison review between these two when you get your hands on them!

I can only hope those Turbo engines keep comparatively high level of good reliability. Even though Toyota had a rough start with the Tundra. With EPA I don't think Toyota have any other option than reducing displacement and put turbo to keep up with the power needs.

Very cool vehicle, I can’t wait to see it in person. I’m a little sad the ground clearance is so low. My dads new Colorado trail boss has perfect stock ground clearance.

I was really hoping manual transmission / turbo 4 from the new Tacoma was an option for the TLC with cloth seats.

Hey a Lexus grille I can actually get behind. What a cool looking off roader!

Tommy looking more and more like his Dad! I’m going with the Lexus GX. I’m a bougie person by nature. Plus, 3rd row seats is indeed optional on the GX, which Tommy forgot to mention in the video. But see he corrected it on the thread. I can live without the off-road trim of the GX. I’m an urban city type of dude. I just want to flex! 😎

Nice Moonswatch Tommy!

To me the LC is fun but looks like a much cheaper vehicle. Inside is tragic for something that will cost $60k+ OTD. Hopefully everything that didn't go into the interior DID go into making that vehicle very capable and reliable as we'd all expect.

Love how the lexus took inspiration from the Mustangs volume knob glued to the touch screen.

I'm very interested to see how the new turbo charged V6 in GX550 compares to the old N/A V8 in the GX460 in high elevations. We love our GX460 but I feel that it needs more power at our elevation (7, 800'). I hope the turbos on the new V6 help makeup some of the power lost due to elevation.

At least the screen on the GX doesnt stick above the dash.
Rear seat room looks the same or less than a 4runner.
