Thanks for the bit of time travel. Home Economics used to be taught in schools. 1963, that's when I had to do an embroidery sample. So messy! I was too impatient. This makes me want to try again, now that I'm older.🤭

about 50 years ago, japanese moms liked to add embroidery on each belongings of their children. my mom put tulip and my name naoko on my boxlunch case. i really liked it.
