As someone who lives in Serbia and fallow UTD more than 25 years I can tell you that he played in Vojvodina here in a club that isn't that great and when ever we have a gem of a player he almost usually end up in Partizan or Crvena zvezda than go to Europe but he never played for either of them. He wasn't even called for the national team for Euros and we really don't have too many good players these days. Now he plays for the under average team in Portugal and never felt pressure of a big club and he is already 23y old so I don't know how he could become a UTD player who is going to get us to another level.

I personally think we really missed out on an opportunity to sign Barrenechea from Juventus in my opinion. Villa just signed the guy and he represents a lot of what we need in that 6 role, a genuine single pivot who does well both offensively and defensively. He feels like a defensively stronger version of Paredes and is the kind of guy you can leave in that Busquets/Carrick/Rodri role on his own.

The kind of players our scouts and board must be targeting to ensure we get the sort of quality we need to drive us forward. We should go in hard on such. We mustn't let such chances pass us by lest we end up spending north of £60mil when another club gets them and they end up having unreal seasons. i.e. Caicedo, Rice...

Lasse Berg Johnsen is who we should buy. Best player in allsvenskan. Insanely good reading of the game, doesn’t look like a tank but boy he puts no finger in between when he tackle. Great at 1-2 bounce passes. Good crosser.

IF we sell Mctominay and move in Casemiro somehow, then get Ugarte and this guy then I think that's good business. He can't be worst than Casemiro was last year

We used to pick up these hidden gems regularly up until the last decade. At that price you can't fail, such a low risk. I've never heard of him but Ste seems to spot these deals all the time. He'd be great to look at as a second signing after Ugarte and I really hope we're looking for bargains like this given our tight finances.

Reminds me of Matic especially being Serbian too. I'd take him if he's anything like Matic that Chelsea bought but not the Matic United bought from Chelsea. Honeslty though, the fact he never even made the Serbian Euro 2024 squad makes it difficult for me to merit United signing him
